I fabricated the cake EXACTLY every bit indicated, however I increased the concoction by doubling the it because I wanted a thicker cake. The results were perfect!!! For those who had problems with the streusel topping sinking into the batter and nifty during the baking procedure, follow the unproblematic footstep. Afterward preparing the topping, place the entire bowl (not the batter) into the freezer for several hours or overnight. Remix with a fork until they resemble small crumbs. Sprinkle on top of cake concoction. Pat down gently with a large spatula (especially the corners) to ensure the topping "sticks" to the batter and also to even the cake out. I baked mine at 325 degrees instead of 350 and the cake broiled and rose more evenly. Take a look at my photo. The block was delicious and disappeared very rapidly!! Cheers Mary for the recipe!!!

Permit ME Offset SAY THAT THIS COFFEE Block IS DELICIOUS!!!! I Take NEVER TASTED A Java Cake Like THIS BEFORE. BEFORE TRYING THIS RECIPE I DID READ ALOT OF THE REVIEWS AND TOOK IN TO Account SOME OF THE THINGS THAT WERE SAID, SUCH Every bit NOT ENOUGH STREUSEL AND THE STREUSEL MELTING INTO THE CAKE. I REMEDIED BOTH, I USED 1/2 Loving cup OF FLOUR, 1/2 CUP OF WHITE Carbohydrate AND 1/ii Loving cup OF Chocolate-brown SUGAR (KEPT THE BUTTER THE SAME) FOR THE STEUSEL, It MADE More than Plenty, I ALSO DID'NT PUT THE STREUSEL ON UNTIL IT WAS COMPLETELY DONE. I PUT THE STEUSEL ON AND COVERED THE PAN (9X9) WITH ALUMINUM FOIL AND THAT MOISTENED THE STREUSEL I So PRESSED IT DOWN JUST A Flake. I ALSO ADDED A Chip OF CINNAMON TO THE FLOUR FOR THE Batter AND IT ALL TURNED OUT GREAT!!!! THANKS MARY

I used an 8 x 8" pan and put half of the streusel in the middle and half on the top. I used 1/3c white sugar and ane/3 c dark-brown saccharide to brand upwardly the 2/3c sugar for the streusel. I baked it for xl minutes. Delicious!
02/14/2003
The streusel topping melted during baking so, now I add it towards the last 10 mins of blistering. I take made this cake several times with no additions or ingredient changes and it was never dry. Try rotating the baking pan at the halfway point of the baking time and so bank check five minutes before the end of the recommended baking fourth dimension with a cake tester or toothpick. There should exist very few crumbs adhering to the tester when the cake is set. Hope this helps.
05/30/2002
I actually enjoyed the taste of this coffee cake merely it should have been fabricated in a ix x 9 pan. At that place didnt seem to be enough concoction for xiii x ix. Besides I think a little less butter in the topping would make it crunchier. The topping melted into the block.
03/03/2007
Succulent! Endeavour it for yourself, don't trust the bad reviews. I halved the recipe and made it in a 8x8 in. pan--I nonetheless used i whole egg and added milk to brand ane/two loving cup. I as well made a full batch of topping using brownish sugar instead of white. Information technology took a few extra minutes to cook and a few minutes for the topping to set up. I did non follow the directions for mixing the cake--just did it as you would any other cake and creamed the butter with the sugar, etc. Quick, piece of cake, tasty, and uses ingredients y'all always accept on paw.

This cake might accept gotten v stars except for the instructions. A recipe's ingredients should be listed in the club in which they will be used - unless at that place is a explanation showing the following ingredients are for the topping. In this case, the topping is listed terminal but the instructions deal with information technology first. The poster notes the 1/4c. flour & the 2/3 c sugar & 1tsp cinnamon simply then only says to cut in the butter. I tin can see why one reviewer ended with a puddle of butter on the block because looking rapidly I put in the 1/2 c butter. Simply before turning the mixer on I realized what I had washed and was able to remove some in time. Other than that blip, I followed the recipe, had no problem with using a 9x13 pan. The block itself rose to well-nigh 1.75" and with the topping it was a proficient ii". That's quite good enough for a coffee cake. I'm finding the topping crumbles a lot when removing to serve only the flavor, wet, texture is excellent. Took nigh 15 minutes longer to cook.

First-class and Easy! The but alterations I fabricated were to use a 9 inch round springform pan and broiled for 35 minutes, increased milk by 2 Tbsp. and used 1/3c white carbohydrate and ane/3 c. brown sugar in topping, rather than all white sugar. This was a striking with my kids and guests. So like shooting fish in a barrel and uses ever-on-paw pantry items.
02/01/2011
I really wanted to honey this block, but it just didn't gustation very good. I think it has potential, but I'yard not going to waste matter my time trying to 'save' it. I thought it was bland. I followed the recipe EXACTLY as written. I even made this recipe TWICE in case I did something wrong without knowing, but I Advisedly followed it again and it still tasted banal. I later broiled another recipe from this site (Cranberry Upside Down Coffee Cake) and THAT one was Really absolutely delicious.
12/25/2010
This is a perfect morning cake! Succulent, fluffy and super simple. Made it in a 9inch round pan...planned to use the 9x13 but didn't look similar it would be enough. It was perfect in the circular pan! Layered the topping and added some chopped walnuts to the top. Couldn't accept been meliorate! ( take it out before the top starts to brown and information technology volition be super moist, and addicting!)
04/02/2002
Quick easy and tasted cracking.
09/18/2002
This was a good coffee cake that striking the spot for brunch. I added a 1/4 C of chopped walnuts to the topping mixture. As 1 reviewer noted, there doesn't seem to be plenty batter for a 9x13 pan but information technology can be done through a little fleck of elbow grease-- the concoction is sticky and hard to spread.
ten/03/2011
This cake equally written needed a footling work, in my opinion, so I added some brownish sugar to both the strussel and the batter and used more cinnamon then called for. Also, I put some of the strussel in the concoction and swirled information technology around with a butter knife, and and then put the residuum on the top during the last five minutes of blistering. Make sure to make a little actress strussel. Without these changes I retrieve the cake tastes also dumbo and like it has too much flour. These changes will give it a lot of extra flavor.
01/09/2011
This was pretty expert although I made my own streusal past combining three/four loving cup brown sugar, one tsp. cinnamon and ane/ii cup chopped walnuts. I similar a thick coffeecake so I used an viii-inch glass cake pan and layer the batter with the streusal ending with streusal on tiptop. Since it was thicker I had to bake it for l minutes.
ten/05/2002
Recipe was missing an ingredient (milk). Otherwise simple to make, quite tasty.
08/21/2012
I have been looking for this recipe for many years. I used to make this cake back in the early 80s. The recipe got lost in my many moves. I am delighted to find it again, just as easy, merely as delicious! TIPS: Employ Cold butter. Call back to Not over-mix. Lumpy concoction means tender cake. Likewise, I like to add 1/4 C chopped nuts to the streusel topping. Unproblematic and perfect every fourth dimension.
06/27/2012
Great recipe! Followed the recipe exactly except I doubled the topping. I put half the batter in, sprinkled some topping on, poured the rest of the concoction, then put the remaining topping on. Doesn't even need sour cream or yogurt in the recipe. I'm definately making this once more.
12/15/2010
This tasted simply like coffee block from a coffee shop! I made minimal changes based upon reading others' reviews. For one, I added just a splash of actress milk because the concoction seemed dry. For the topping, I used i/ii c. white sugar, one/2 c. brown sugar and one/2 c. flour, keeping the butter and cinnamon the aforementioned. The most important change was that I broiled it in an 8x8 instead of 9x13. I don't come across how there would be enough batter to use a 9x13. Using an 8x8 was perfect. Will be making again for company!
06/07/2011
This was and then practiced, I followed the block recipe exactly and it was fine in a 9x13 pan. I just spread it out with a rubber spatula. I did add brown sugar to the topping and a footling more butter and held off from adding it until the last 10 minutes of blistering...it is really, really good and I will definitely make again!
12/02/2010
Sense of taste was fine but the cake was dry, dense and flat. Topping was crispy not crumbly. Mayhap cooking it in a smaller pan might help.
03/15/2010
Cracking Recipe! I fabricated one.5x the streusel and used a bundt pan. Grease and flour a bundt pan, pack some streusel on the lesser (peak when inverted) fill up with 1/2 cake mixture, another layer of streusel, finish with rest of cake mixture and bake xxx-twoscore min. I added a simple cinnamon coat on top - wonderful recipe - cheers!
05/08/2010
Great coffee cake-dearest the streusel topping. I fabricated this the day before serving, and it was dainty and moist.
02/23/2006
I used ane/3 white carbohydrate and one/3 brownish sugar and added pecans to the topping... I likewise E'er sift the flour in cakes or use block flour. I sifted the flour 3 times. Makes this recipe lighter. This recipe is actually practiced. Anybody loved information technology. It reminds me of Starbucks.. :0)
01/nineteen/2011
This is the verbal coffee cake recipe I've always wanted! Delicious and it tastes great the next couple of days likewise. I beloved coffee cake and take fabricated lots of recipes, usually the sour cream version, merely dear this one so far the best! I did employ brown sugar in the topping though instead...just because I know thats how I like the topping.
08/29/2002
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! This coffee cake is low-cal and blusterous, and has the perfect amount of sweetness. This recipe puts all other java cakes to shame.
ten/xv/2007
My family unit LOVED this coffee cake. I fabricated it in a Demarle silicone bundt pan, baked information technology for 35 minutes and it slid out bang-up. Great texture, very moist. I also did ane/2 brown ane/2 white sugar and would do the same side by side time. So happy to have found a different coffee cake recipe. Thank you!
01/17/2011
instead of following the recipe i made information technology in a mixer like other cakes i bake. information technology turned out bully. i doubled the recipe though because i don't want a thin coffee cake. being doubled it rose to more than three inches. i also added cinnamon into the heart of the cake so it is more a cinnamon swirl coffee cake. anyway delicious. just thing i may change next time is adding a bit more soy milk and so the batter is a little more than like batter and not dough.
04/04/2009
Works well as a bundt cake as well! I lightly pressed the topping into the bottom of the bundt pan and poured the concoction on top. Cooked for 20 min longer than written. Was very moist and the topping was very crispy! Volition probably make again, as my family unit loved information technology. ^_^
01/21/2008
i used the proposition from someone else to use a teaspoon of cinnamon in the batter and 1/ii each of flour, white sugar, and brown sugar in the topping. EXCELLENT. totally recommend it
06/25/2011
Delicious! I made this EXACTLY as written. At first I thought the 9x13 pan would exist as well large because information technology seemed like the concoction was a thin layer. Simply it fluffed up while it baked and was perfect.
03/04/2004
I'yard not sure what happened but this coffee cake turned out awful!!! I followed the recipe EXACTLY but it turned out totally flat, rubbery and tasteless. The struesel topping but melted into the cake. With all the expert reviews I hate to give a bad one. Usually I have no issues with recipes from this site that have iv or five stars. I recall this is a first. Oh well! I'll go along looking for a adept coffee cake recipe!
08/04/2011
My mom used to make a bisquick java cake when i was a kid, and it was always my favorite. This one is 100 times amend, I actually liked it. I I doubled the crumble like others said and I put information technology on half way through. Give thanks you then much for the recipe!
01/24/2003
Loved this recipe. Very unproblematic to make and it's not also heavy at all. Have fabricated several times for a women's study grouping and all loved information technology! Accept had the recipe requested many times. When my iii year old nephew comes to visit he asks for information technology as presently as he walks in the door! The but alteration I ever made was to add half a bag of the Hershey'south cinnamon chips just to use it upward. My hubby prefers it with the cinnamon chips - but I like it equally is! I could eat 1/2 the cake fresh out of the oven. Thanks Aunt Anne!!!!!!!!
09/23/2012
I followed a review; to first broil the cake and while nevertheless warm simply later taking it out of the oven sprinkle with streusel and wrap foil over it. I discovered is best to take it out of the oven while almost ready sprinkle with streusel and and so bake for another ten mins. Turns out great!!!!!
02/08/2002
I really liked this coffee cake. It was easy to make and very moist. Had just enough cinnamon. Fashion to go Aunt Anne!
05/23/2010
These are Crawly! Big Hit! The only change I fabricated was double the topping and broiled the cake for 15 min and so added the topping then baked until a toothpick came out clean..approx 10 min. more. JESUS IS THE Simply WAY TO Sky!!!!
11/27/2005
This is cracking java cake. The merely thing I did different from the recipe was on the topping I did half white sugar and half brown sugar. I had no issues with dryness at all. It was still moist 3 days subsequently. The just matter I can think of what happened to others was they either broiled it likewise long or their oven was besides hot. I will be making this again.
03/17/2011
This is my become to java cake recipe. I always make it in an 8X8 dish and sometimes add berries or chocolate chips to it. Today I am making it only as it is. Super yummy! Thanks for the recipe.
12/27/2010
This cake was succulent and so simple to make. I added and extra 1/4 cup of milk and the moisture was perfect. I also did as other reviewers suggested and used 1/3 cup of white saccharide and 1/3 loving cup of brown sugar for the topping. Since I used an 8x8 drinking glass pan, the block needed at least 40 minutes to bake, but the extra time was worth information technology. My husband and kids loved it! This is a keeper.
12/12/2010
I honey this block. I make mine a little different, calculation a chip more milk than suggested. The cake comes out moist & succulent. My husband and neighboor (hubbies all-time friend) ask for this cake OFTEN!
05/02/2010
Well I learned my lesson!!! I printed this recipe and fabricated it several times...EXACTLY equally stated at start then by making a little more than "chaff topping". This tastes merely similar a famous pastry company that I volition never be buying their expensive java cake again thanks to this very quick, easy, and well-nigh chiefly: TASTY cake! My lesson? I forgot to salvage it in my "recipe box" and lost the printed paper. It seemed to accept forever to find information technology once again! Now I saved it in 3 places...breakfast, dessert, and breads! This is i of those "company is coming" recipes that I tin can throw together in a bustle and however taste like I prepared for hours! I can serve it warm with ice cream. While not an everyday thing, I can serve it as a Lord's day morn breakfast treat. I tin likewise bring it to a local bake sale or family/church building/school gathering "pot luck". So my just question is...do I reveal my sources of this masterpiece or leave them wondering? Thank you Mary! This is the perfect recipe!...now I am going to see what other ones you lot have posted! :)
05/19/2009
was actually proficient! i did follow the amount of topping to put on pinnacle from other users (1/two cup flower, ane/ii loving cup white sugar, one/two brown carbohydrate, same butter and cinnamon). oh, and since a lot of people were saying that information technology melted, i only waited to put the topping in after x mins of baking. very tasty, definately would try again :)
04/27/2003
Higher Educatee's Dream! Very piece of cake to make merely satisfies sugariness tooth at 11:00pm! I had no butter in the house then substituted margarine, went a little overboard with information technology in the topping, but that made a prissy caramelized "crust" with yummy gooey caramel filling! Margarine worked fine. Fluffy, truthful cake taste. I would add together about ¼ teaspoon clove to the cinnamon on the topping next time, just for a bit more flavor. Drop this past your kid'south dorm room as a surprise they will love it!
02/21/2002
This coffee cake is delicious! I found this recipe most viii months ago and I've made it at to the lowest degree a dozen times since. All the ingredients are in my business firm all the time, and it's then simple to make! :)
03/15/2011
Delicious! I followed another user's advice and made it in an 8x8 pan. I put half of the streusel topping in the middle and the rest on tiptop. Will DEFINITELY make this again!
06/08/2008
This was a great like shooting fish in a barrel java cake with staple ingredients. I like mine with more than topping and so I doubled information technology and put some brown sugar in with the white. Yum.
04/26/2003
I made this for a last minute brunch and this was very quick and actually practiced. Information technology was moist and not also sugariness. I think I might attempt brown sugar in the topping every bit some have suggested. Cinnamon in the batter might be a dainty affect, too. Will make again.
04/03/2011
Double the recipe for the 9x13" pan. Sprinkle half the streusel in the middle of the batter, the rest on top. SO Skillful!
03/03/2010
Thanks a million for sharing such a fantastic recipe! I followed some tips from other reviewers such equally substituting 1/two brown sugar and one-half white sugar; using oil instead of butter in concoction; doubled recipe for acme; finely chopped 3 small apples and layered the batter; added chopped pecans to crumb mixture. Incredible! Can't wait until my husband gets home to share :)
08/06/2010
this cake was pretty skillful, but information technology seemed more than like a streusel cake than a java cake. the topping was good, just the cake part was a little as well plainly for me. adjacent fourth dimension i make it i plan on adding a couple tbs of pumkin pie spice to the crumb mixture (its a alloy of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg mainly) and i call back that volition have care of it.
07/xi/2010
I followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfect! Super easy and delicious!!
09/26/2002
Good flavor, just dry. I won't make this again.
03/07/2011
I love this recipe! But I exercise double the crumb topping recipe.
09/06/2012
Great starter recipe. I added cream cheese, lemon zest and crumble and blueberries. The crumble on superlative was made the same only without cinnamon. I baked it in a springform pan and information technology came out cleanere than I thought it would. The gustation is divine and moist and yummy!
06/12/2012
I followed the recipe most to verbal, except for the streusel topping, I used 1/iii cup of sugar and 1/3 cup of dark-brown sugar, I added the topping the last 10 minutes of blistering. I baked the cake for nigh 40 minutes in a 8x11 inch pan. The cake came out great!
02/24/2002
Very like shooting fish in a barrel and very tasty! This will become my "standard" coffee cake recipe, I'k sure.
07/23/2002
I actually liked this cake. I'm 14 years former and I like to cook(an uncommon trait in a teen boy) and this was a great recipe. I like everything about information technology. My dad took it to a political party and anybody LOVEd it.
09/xviii/2011
My married man says "the consistancy isn't right merely it tastes skillful". He only doesn't want to hurt my feelings. This was the densest cake I accept e'er made, it was absolutely horrible! Its wetter than banana bread! I should've known when the concoction was thick similar credibility batter that it would take the consistancy of a cookie. I'll never make this recipe once again, there was naught that could've been done to go far amend.
05/02/2012
This cake was delicious, the sweet perfect, only like my mom'due south! But only right after I pulled it from the oven. The batter was so sticky I had to add allot of flour and it turned out kind of dry. When it cooled downward completely information technology turned to stone.
01/07/2011
So then
02/21/2011
Came out tasty. I doubled information technology, and it made a huge cake that bubbled out of the pan, just it worked out. Tin't brand a crumb topping to save my life. But, information technology came out good.
02/17/2003
Tasted good right out of the oven, but not so good the next morning.
08/05/2011
Good :) The top turned out a trivial odd?
01/02/2011
Made just as described on ingredients did apply a slightly smaller programme but kind of wished I didnt personally I would have liked the cake a scrap thinner as opposed to the thicker. Reminded me a lot of those donut sticks y'all can get from petty debbie! just better
07/13/2008
I made this in a 9x9 stone and put a layer of the streusel topping in the heart. I also used one/three cup white sugar and ane/iii cup chocolate-brown sugar for the topping. I baked it for 40 minutes and it turned out wonderful. I think it would take been also sparse had I used a 9x13 pan. I brought information technology to work still hot out of the oven and everyone loved information technology. One person said it tasted like Amish Friendship Bread - and it'due south MUCH faster!
06/10/2011
Thanks for sharing!!!
04/08/2009
This recipe was perfect. It was very easy to brand and really it was the first thing that I have made from hither that took as long as information technology said it would to cook. The only thing that I may change the next time is to use a smaller pan to make a thicker cake. Groovy task with this one.
xi/08/2011
Ok nada special as written.
04/10/2011
I followed the recipe exactly except I used my own topping. It looked similar in that location wasn't going to exist enough to embrace the bottom of a 9x13 pan, so I used a 9x9. The cake rose well (almost tripled in size), but it was VERY dense. It tasted delicious, so I think adjacent fourth dimension I will try the 9x13 pan.
12/27/2005
It was ok, I layered the topping into the batter. I think the fact it was all white carbohydrate made the streusel a flake crunchy and hard. I will proceed looking for a recipe more to my liking.
04/06/2011
Aunt Anne's Coffee Block is really from an old McCalls recipe card and it is succulent. I always make this because the ingredients are things I always have on hand. My kids love it and are constantly asking me to make information technology on the weekends.
04/05/2002
Wow! This really is not bad coffee cake. I'grand making my second batch at this very moment, because yesterdays batch was eaten so quickly! I'm making a little actress topping this time, only it was great with the standard amount every bit well. Thanks Aunt Anne.
03/02/2011
I threw this coffee block together on a whim. The block itself was moist and succulent, I added a trivial cinnamon, but volition add more next fourth dimension. As I fabricated this so quickly, I didn't take time to read other comments....I agree that a 9x13 is likewise big and that the crumb topping melted abroad. Mid-cooking I realized this and whipped upward an apple tree, butter, cinnamon topping----tasted not bad. Next time I will use a smaller pan just the same amount of crumb topping, I will just add it after in the cooking cycle.
09/xix/2003
Sorry, not what I was looking for. I wanted more of a cake like texture. This is much more than similar a bisquit with a sugar topping, no i really cared for information technology.
11/02/2010
I have been making this recipe for years. Great as is but easy to conform if you want to double or add together more topping. Crowd pleaser!
05/08/2012
This cake is wonderful. I omitted the topping and added a pint of fresh blueberries to the mixture and sprinkled with corse sugar afterward baking. It needed cypher else. I baked in a 9x11 pan. Suggestions for butter. Freeze for 30 minutes then grate with a cheese grater. Give this recipe a attempt. Easy and YUMMY!
eleven/22/2009
I made this as written, except used a smaller pan it is AMAZING, just what I was looking for. Give thanks you for sharing.
02/11/2003
This really wasn't all that cracking and I consider myself to be a fairly good melt. I've made much meliorate java cakes before. It was dry with not much flavor and the streusal wasn't as proficient equally I thought it would be. If I were to make this again, I think cinnamon added to the batter would work well, as well as using dark-brown sugar rather than white for both the batter and the streusal. But I don't retrieve I will brand this over again- there are improve recipes out at that place.
11/24/2002
Information technology was okay, I had five people sample it and all said, information technology's okay. Cipher slap-up, I actually remember they were beingness kind. I followed all directions, it looked beautiful, just not something I'd brand once again.
01/23/2010
This was delicious! Perfectly moist. I had some leftover apple tree pie filling that I needed to use up (perhaps almost a cup), and then I mashed up the pie filling and spooned information technology over the cake before adding the streusel topping. YUM! Definitely a keeper! Too, I broiled in a 9X13 pan as directed and I thought the thickness was perfect.
01/16/2011
I doubled the topping and it was amazing!!! All-time java cake I have always made, and I accept tried tons of recipes!!
08/26/2009
This was absolutely delicious! I brought this to a sleepover party to eat for breakfast and everyone raved about information technology! Thanks for the great recipe!!
eleven/08/2002
Dandy easy reipe! I added a picayune cinnamon which gave information technology the perfect taste!
08/16/2002
not very sugariness...to me that isn't good, simply to my husband this is the perfect tasting cake!! He doesn't like really sweet things, and this cake seemed to hitting the spot for him.
01/ten/2011
This was tasty, notwithstanding, I similar more topping on my coffee cake. Will make once again tho :)
04/04/2011
This is amazing. I dearest it. It is so easy and absolutely delicious. It just melts in your mouth.
01/10/2009
Excellent! I doubled the toppings and my family LOVED it!
05/02/2011
AMAZING! I added about 1 tsp cinnamon to the block batter and used brownish saccharide instead of white sugar for the topping. I also doubled the caked topping and added it to the block fifteen min before it was done cooking. It was PERFECT!!! Everyone at Easter brunch loved it and asked for the recipe!
12/12/2011
A chip too sugary for my taste.
04/03/2002
I was very disappointed with this recipe. It was extrememly sweet and was more similar a regular cake than a coffee breakfast cake. The topping was horrible, information technology wasn't crunchy or hardened at all, it melted into the cake. Even my husband who isn't picky, didn't like information technology. I volition stick to my quondam coffee cake recipe for now on.
06/28/2012
Wow! Yum! I followed the directions pretty closely and my cake turned out to exist perfectly delicious! I used a 10" circular and information technology was the perfect size for me. I will say I was surprised at how much volume the cake had. Information technology really does poof up. I did put some streusel in the middle as well. Besides, afterward some mental contend, I put the top layer of streusel on the cake Before putting it in the oven and it was perfect. My coworkers kept commenting that the cake had the perfect combination of crunchiness from the tiptop layer, balanced with the delectable-ness of the rest of the cake. I really recommend trying the cake recipe as it is written before making too many changes. Information technology was super yummy.
04/25/2011
So I oasis't got to endeavour this cake yet, only I do have to say that it takes longer than 25min in a 350 oven. Mine wasn't even cooked except at the very edgesat that time. I put it in for another 20 minutes and information technology even so wasn't done. So I increased the temperature to 400 and put it in for another 20 minutes, hopefully that'll do the play a trick on. i'one thousand trying to feed 2 kids this for breakfast, but unfortunately because of the fourth dimension stated in the recipe it's at present get tiffin. And my oven is running at the right temperature.
12/29/2010
i made this after 3/four a canteen of vino and information technology still turned out wonderful. i used chocolate-brown sugar instead of white, because who likes white sugar anyhow?... broiled it in a bundt pan and was perfect!
11/27/2010
I loved this recipe, turned out very fluffy. Huge hit with the family unit.
11/06/2010
Excellent! Very tasty. Did the 1/2 cups of white sugar, i/ii of brown sugar and 1/2 of flour and information technology came out perfect. Thanks Mary.
03/07/2003
Easy recipe just spreading batter on a greased & floured pan was not the easiest. I prefer to cascade a cake batter. As per the reviews I read before making this, I put the struesel on for the last one-half of the cooking fourth dimension. I followed the other members' suggestions and baked this in a 9" by 9" pan rather than a 9 x xiii. It was delicious!

I was not besides crazy about this recipe. I had to add together loads more milk and the texture was still wierd. The taste was only okay. sorry!

Excellent - made exactly equally written, except I used margarine instead of butter. Next fourth dimension I might try chocolate-brown sugar instead of white on the topping. Very expert recipe.
